I am thinking about doing th Foundation Degree in Early Years through the Open University. Their website suggests about 16 hours a week of study.

Anyone who is doing the course, can you tell me if this is accurate?
I already work 45 hours a week, and not sure i can fit this many hours in without upsetting my family.

How do you all manage it?

I dedicated one evening and Sunday afternoon to it.

I suppose if you worked through every study topic doing all the exercises then it would take a loooong time.

Nobody ever wants to see them so I didn't do them!

Writing the essays took longer... top tip is to read the question FIRST.

Then as you are doing the reading, pull out quotes etc you think might be useful :D

I did about 5-10 hours per week, including my report writing. some weeks less or none (if weekends away) and some weeks lots more near hand in time.

I didn't do OU and had to attend class for 5 hours a week (one evening)
