Has anyone done the Diploma in Homebased childcare and studyed it via distance learning? I was thinking about doing it that way if I cant get on a course in next couple of months locally. is it a good way to do it?

I'm doing mine this way, it's great you can do it at whatever speed you want, I did 2 assignments within 2 days. You could finish the course in a couple of days if you wanted too! It is a bit more expensive to the college course but you don't have to travel anywhere or commit to the time required for the college one:)

Yes I did it through nec. You my be able to get funded through your local council I did!

yes that's how i did it. The national extension college are a home study based college that you can do the ICP Course through. I would highly recommend it. I sent assignments off really quickly and received marks back quickly as well. The NEC also arrange the exam for you at your local college aswell:thumbsup:
