Road works activites

One of my mindees is mad on the road works in our street and was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on activities that i could do alongside his interest??

I have thought about looking for some signs to print and maybe a road works assualt course in garden using signs and cones, anything else :)

Red and green activities / stop and go games / chalk a roadway for the ride ons / digging in the sand or mud / laying pipes in the sand / pipes with water / anything related to road safety / lollipop lady (people who help us) activities...

Hope something there inspires :D

We have the Orchard Toys Road block game, they do some good ones in the shops. Could you do a trip to some local roadworks hehe

Like the pipe idea, they are laying new road surfus but im sure if i walk around i will find some new pipes getting laid :)

Thanks Paula i have that game somewhere, bought it for 50p in charity shop ages ago, knew it wouls come in handy :)
