CHILD CREDIT TAX

HELP!
I have just been on the phone to them, as i have just started c/m. They asked me what my tax ref was, where do i get that from? I am awaitibg all the forms from the ncma since june 1st, nothing has come. Do i reg as self employed somewhere else? i thought all the ncma forms covered that?

You have to register with the inland revenue as self employed within 3months of starting to earn as a childminder, they will then give you your tax reference number. This is not the same as child tax credit.
