Hi am currently pre-reg but want to get a crack on my webpage whilst waiting for visits etc...but have NO clue where to start - anybody got any tips on how or where to host - how much does it generally cost etc?? I know mostly what i want to put on it but its just gettign started.

Hi, I have no idea about building websites because I'm not at all technical :blush: but thought I'd mention that Pauline on this site will build websites - have you considered asking her to do yours or are you up for doing it from scratch yourself?

I'm pre-reg too but started cracking on with my website! I have used Free Virtual Servers for a site I did for my parents business so have used them again. You just pay for the domain and you can host for free, think it cost me about a tenner in all!?!
The actual building of the site takes a while, esp to get it exactly how you want it, but there are lots of templates to choose from etc.
