I got some large cat litter trays from Wilko's at the weekend. I'd thought about filling them with jelly, sunflower seeds, shaving foam, rice or pasta. What else could I use for this activity? All ideas welcome! :)

A nice idea that I pinched from a nursery was filling one with leaves and fircones etc and giving the children magnifying glasses ( just the cheap plastic ones are fine ) to examine it all.

Sorry I don't do measuring  just tip the packet in and add water 'till it looks/feels right  You can add paint or food colouring too.

Must have been the weekend for Cm's to buy litter trays. I also got a couple at the weekend and my 2 boys had great fun in the gloop (cornflour mixture). I have just given the liners to a lady on freecycle!!!

Mine like pasta (different colours/shapes), ice, noodles, cereal (especially oats with glitter added), rice, shredded paper.
