Does anyone have any further ideas on what you could use these for. I have used them for dangling from the ceiling - my mind has just blank as to what they are called!!! I have also made suncatchers and necklaces out of them. Tks

It was my turn at cm drop in last week to provide the craft. We are doing nursery ryhmes this term.
I did Incey Wincey spider using dvd's.
We painted glue all over the dvd, then I had cut long strips about 5mm wide for their legs. Lay 4 of these across the dvd, so some hang over each side. Then stick a circle of paper over the top and allow the kids to decorate (The circle of paper helps hold the legs in place)
Quite simple but effective and the kids enjoyed doing it.

Hi
I have used them to stick onto the wall and create a kind of mirror. I like the way the light reflects on them and of course the kids can see themselves. The Ofsted inspector really liked them as do the kids. You get so many free with newspapers so I save them and make patterns/shapes on the wall, how sad am I?!
