I saw a Science Experiment on Cbeebies today which I thought was Fab.

In a large, tall clear container they poured in 1/3 of Honey, 1/3 of water and 1/3 of cooking oil. The honey sank to the bottom, the water stayed in the middle and the oil floated on top. They then had three small balls of different weight and dropped them in. The heavy ball sank to the bottom in the Honey, the medium weight ball sank through the oil but floated in the water and the light ball floated ontop of the oil.

It was great!!!

We saw the advert for this on Saturday and though it looked great.

Maybe mindees are a bit young (15 and 22 months), but dd might enjoy it - she's nearly 3.
