Hi,

I found a recipe for soft cheesey breadsticks..
they are easy to make so kids can help and my dd loves them.
dp and me like them too!!

Ingredients:
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
120 grams of grated cheese

method:
preheat oven to 180 C
mix all ingredients until a dough is formed
roll them out until about 1 cm thick
cut them into strips 5-6 cm long and about 1 cm wide
place them on an ungreased baking tray (leave room between them as they will grow a bit)
bake for 10-15mins until golden brown

yummy yum!

okay i know I am going to sound thick but is there anywhere i can find out how many grams is in a cup or can you buy something that measures in cups.

This sounds lovely but hte measurements are confusing me - doesn't take much i only work in old money eg oz not grams if I can help it lol

recipe in my book is

150g (6oz) SF flour
1/2 teaspoon salt (I left this out)
25g (1oz) butter/margarine
75g (3oz) grated cheese
1 egg (this isnt in the first posters recipe but I used one - no idea if it makes a difference)
2 tablespoons of milk

I guess you just add more milk to replace the egg

hope that helps
