I am sure you are all aware of it but in case you are not, I can highly recommend a trip to the Sheffield Scrapstore (http://www.sheffield-scrapstore.co.uk/).

You have to be a member but Parents membership is just £4 and the new membership year starts next week.

We went Friday and I spent £29 including next years membership, but came home with 10 children's books, a great activity book (£3, cover price £14.99), an inflatable yellow Galt toy horse, loads of craft stuff, papers, cardboard, modroc (40p a packet), Sculpey (60p a packet). And loads more.

Just not many people know about them

Glad you got some good bargains

WOW thats a great price to join. Ours cost over £20. Its well worth it though as most of this stuff you cant buy in the shops and still much cheaper so can make your money back in a few trips.:)

I must go and find the scrapstore - I used to be a member when it was on Lady's Bridge - but even tho I now live nearer, I have never found it. Thanks for the headsup, I will make an effort today.

I'm a member of my local scrapstore, it costs 12 pound for membership, but the bargains I get throughout the year more than makes up for it.
