flower seeds

I brought some different types of flower seeds today and I know with some things cotton wool can be used instead of soil, can i use it for normal flowers?

Any seeds will germinate & grow on cotton wool but most do not like their roots being disturbed for planting on. Depending on what you want to do with them have a try.:thumbsup:

I get a small bag of compost and start the sedds off in that the children really enjoy the planting and the getting messy. Also compost is great as it's so different wet and dry so they get to experience that as well
