Can you tell me how many children you usually get registered for?

Normal registration is for 6 children under 8 years of which no more than 3 in EYFS age group and no more than 1 of those under 1 year in England. This would also include any children of your own under 8 so they would take up a space each. The inspector could also limit for first year but would discuss with you at pre-reg

If all ur children over 8 years then certificate states:-
U can care for 6 under 8...of which no more than 3 can be under 5...... and of which no more than 1 can be under 1 at any time!!!! :thumbsup: hope this makes sense....its late hahaha:laughing:

I started in Sept 08 I am only registered for 3 under 8. I have no children living at home but live in a large 4 bed house plenty of space and garden. I dont know why I can only have 3 guess it because havent been minding that long. I want to ask for 1 more do you think they might say yes?

You won't know until you ask. The worst is they will say no but they might say yes!!!

It wouldn't hurt to ask. I was limited to 3 Plus DD1 when I started I asked for another the following year and was given it. You got a Good on your inspection so that has to go in your favour:)

I increased my numbers in January I wanted go from 4 to 5 but they increased my numbers to 6.

Ive got 4 of my own children, aged 8, 6, 4 and 3 and live in an average 3 bed detached house. Ive been allowed 2 under 5yrs and 1 over 5yrs making a total of 6 under 8 :clapping:
