do i still need my eyfs in place?

at the mo i dont not have any mindees in the eyfs age group and i need to let ofsted no know i now have children on role, so do i still need to have my eyfs stuff in place? if i dont wen they cum will i be marked down for not having it in place? please advise

I would get a couple of files or scrapbooks and put a label on the front saying learning journey of...........also make sure you have a copy of the EYFS pack and that you are familiar with it. Then you will be able to explain what you will do when you get children in the age group

If you do not have children within the Eyfs and you are inspected, the best grade you can usually get is satisfactory.

There is nothing wrong with satisfactory, it means you are meeting some very difficult and testing requirements.

You can delay Ofsted coming by a bit if you are actively recruiting for that age group
