it was fine-no actions- just have to put all the safety equipment in place that i have. its hard going with all the questions and my 2yr old to still entertain and see to his needs.

only 1 prob- i thought my eldest son would be in the older age group- but she says not. so i can only have 1 other LO in the day with of course will limit my earnings :(

How weird.... my inspector said the opposite. DD turns 4 in May and will start full time school in September 09. My inspector is registering me initially for 2 under 5s and come September it'll change to 3 under 5s because DD is then classed in the 5-8 age bracket. I'd query it if I was you.

I said at the time that i thought differently (nicely of course!). she thought she was right (naturally) but would check with her manager before confirming it with me.

Once he attends 10 sessions at school he is classed as an over 5... I am sure this is correct but now I am doubting myself ... I am sure someone will know .... Even if not so then it wont be too long until he is up into the next age group and you can have an extra little one :)

I understood that as soon as a child was in 10 sessions they were counted in the 5-8 age group even if they were 4. It was revised when it was queired as it was written wrongly in the orginal EYFS guidelines. You should def query!

Phew, bet you glad that's done!

Your ds is 5 so he should be in the over 5 catergory...my ds is 4 but as in full time school he's classed as an over 5.
