Seperated Parents

I have a new mindee coming for an interview in the morning. mum and dad are seperated and dad was violent. if she says to me she doesnt want dad collecting him what is the proceedure am i within my rights to refuse him to go home with dad ? what should i tell her.

if he has parental respponsibilty i dont think ur allowed, dont kno if that changes if hes violent, might be worth ringing ncma for advice

If dad has PR then he has the right to take the child. BUT if he is violent then mom might have been to court to get contact stopped, in that case you need to see the paperwork.

Of course, as you have never met dad you would need to protect the child by not handing them over anyway as it could be anyone saying her was the dad (if that makes sence).

I have a password system if i have never met the person who collects the child. i have NCMA contracts, do you mean the dad has to sign them as well as mum ?
