I have finally managed to track some down, so what next, what can I do with them?
Answers on a postcard or even just this thread will be fine thank you:D

We just tend to use spoons and other utensils to put them into pots and pans etc and generally get covered in the stuff - hopefully this will bump up to the top and someone might have other ideas

1 cup of soap flakes, 3 pints very warm water, mix leave for 20 mins..........
and then the fun bit, an electric whisk works best, whisk them up and watch the gloopy bubbles go every where, definately need a Sand/water tray to put them in or even a clean cat litter tray.

only problem is they last forever you never seem to be able to get rid of the stuff.:) :)

There was another thread about these a while back and some photos from Tatia (I think) - might give you some ideas if you can find it

Ooooh oooooohhhhh! It was me, great memory, Mifster!:clapping:

Dump the flakes in a big mixing tray or bowl and add water, a bit at a time, until you get a clay-like consistency. We also added water based paints and I think some scent like vanilla, peppermint or orange food flavourings would be good. Mix and mix and then you can use it to model, like clay.

We made fantastic sculptures with our's. Great as paper weights. We're going to get adventurous for Mother's Day and use cookie cutters to make scented hand soaps in pretty shapes.:D

I'm off to find the old thread.

Does it last then? doesn't it dry out and crumble? and can you put them in the bath???

I like making bath bombs and tend to do it with the older ones.
