Australian activities, ideas needed

I'm taking a group of brownies (aged 8, 9) on pack holiday at Easter. Our theme this year is Australia but I'm having a few problems thinking up some craft activities.

I've got the eggs from Baker Ross to decorate (as Emu eggs), and we're going to by sun hats and corks for them to make up.

Any ideas at all would be really gratefully recieved as I'm struggling!!!:(
