Hi, I have a 9 month old and i'm stuck on an idea. For christmas i done a handprint snowman and hand and foot print on canvas. The parents loved these. Now i'm stuck for valentines day. I got one of those 3d hand plaster things in the pound shop awhile ago i was thinking i could do that or i could save that for mothers day but then what do i do for fathers day?

Thank you Louise

I am not planning to do anything with young children for valentines. I think that it should just be left for older children/teeneagers and adults. Afterall i think thats who its aimed at.

The activities you have mentioned sound great for mothers day etc.

Am i just being a spoilsport? Don't mean to be

What about a valentines card with little ones picture on the front.

I know this is another handprint activity but in Creative Steps this month they have done a handprint heart out of home made playdough, (the one that you have to dry slowly in the oven.)

You make the dough and colour it red or paint it later, then press the hands into it (thumbs together)and cut round them in the shape of a heart. It's a bit hard to explain but it does look very good.
