although I am seriously thinking of giving up childminding I have just had an enquiry - first one in 7 months!!. Unfortunately I can't do it without a variation from ofsted.
it is for a baby boy 5 days a week 8.30-2.30. although I don't usually work on fridays, these hours are ideal. it's from April so I would be over numbers for 1 and half hours a day until september when full timer starts school. and some days she leaves at 1.15 so would have to work out exactly how many days i'd go over.
I'm going to see what happens on Tues with consultant then think about applying for variation. financially we can't afford for me to give up, but this would be just enough for me. although it would be hard for 5 months, from sept it would get easier!
