riSK ASSESSMENT LOCAL SHOPS

ISSUE HOW TO MANAGE IT
HAZARD (to whom and likelihood) What procedure will be in place
Transport *We will walk with the children either in pushchair or holding hands
Behaviour *I talk to the children before we leave the house about behaviour and stranger danger
* If any child is sick I have my mobile telephone with me to contact parents

Shops *I make a visual inspection of the shops
* Toilet facilities are available
*When we arrive we go straight to the information desk as if any child gets lost they MUST go straight there

risK ASSESSMENT - LOCAL WALK

ISSUE HOW TO MANAGE IT
HAZARD (to whom and likelihood) What procedures will be in place
Pre-visit/walk

Road Safety

Behaviour * I will visit local roads
* I will be made aware of planned activities before I leave the house

* I will hold hands or the children will hold the pushchair at all times

* I talk to the children before we leave the house about road safety and behaviour expected of them
* If a child is ill I have my mobile telephone with me and I will telephone the parents or guardian in order for the child to be collected
hope they help :)
