Activity ideas for mindee who is expecting a new sibling this week?

I am looking for activity ideas on a baby theme to do with a mindee (nearly 3 years old) who's Mum is being induced tomorrow, has any one got any ideas? So far I have thought of:

bathing a doll
dressing dolls
cooking & blending food to see what that feels/tastes like

Then my mind goes blank! Sorry this has all happened rather suddenly.


Also any ideas on pressies? I had thought about getting a baby friendly photo album, Whootzit do a nice one but again my mind is blank! Maybe someone can recommend a good book for this situation?

prepare mindee for the fact that they dont do a lot!
but need lots of care and attention.
my eldest was of a similar age and everyone kept telling how lovely it will be to have a new playmate etc that it was a big shock when he arrived and did nothing!
