I have just completed and submitted my Tax Return for 07/08. And as I only had part timers to start with and only started in November, I dont have any tax to pay. Yipee!!!

It was easier than I thought and am just glad its done now. One more thing off my check list!!

Thanks!!

Its mainly down to having recently done a course on filling in my tax return, so I thought I would bite the bullet and do it while the information was still fresh in my mind.

But yes, it does feel good!!

Sorry to sound so happy and relieved!!!

Well done Helen - must admit I've not been brave enough to do it on line yet (too worried something will go wrong!)

I find it easier to do on line than on paper, so go for it Miff, it's not difficult AND it tells you if you have done it wrong!!

I have done mine over the internet for the last 4-5 years. it is quick and safe and you know what you bill is immediately and IF there is a refund I have had it in my bank account within 3 days.

Go for it ladies!

I wasnt lucky enough to get a refund!!

But I liked that it showed me green ticks when I had completed things. It told me where I had gone wrong, which was only once thankfully. Whereas I am terrible with paper forms and would have ended up sending it in no doubt with mistakes. Then they would have to write to me to say what I had done wrong and so on.

I am definitely going to do it this way from now on.

All I really needed was my total income, total expenditure and any capital allowances (which I didnt do this year and am carrying over).
