I am looking after a child tomorrow for one day - bit of an emergency situation so very short notice. Just wanted to check what the absolute minimum paperwork and information I need is? Am assuming both parents contact details, other emergency contact details, baby's name, address, date of birth, as well as brief idea of routines and comfort items. Should I ask parent to sign emergency medical treatment permission? Is there anything I have missed that is essential?
Thanks

Temporary contract, permissions and consents, emergency treatment form including emergency contact details for parents and information about medical needs / disabilities / extra needs etc.

Think that's about it!

Hope it goes well for you :D

I would go through all the normal stuff but just let them read through my policies and procedures and sign for that - ie. not give them a copy just for one day. Obviously would only be temp contract though.
