Messy Play for an 8mth old?

Looking for ideas for messy play for my 8 mth old mindee. Everything is going in her mouth at the moment so must be edible !!

Cold pasta
Cold Jelly
Cold custard

Lots of things if you think about it - my little ones love playing with all the above I put them in a container sit them at the high chair and let them make a mess

Like Sarah suggested there are heaps of ideas around the forum though

My little boy is nearly 9 months old and I have done both jelly and cooked, coloured spaghetti with him and he really enjoyed both. I did baked beans once, which he enjoyed, but it made a terrible mess and was really difficult to clean him up afterwards!!

6 month I have loves jelly, must admit wouldnt have been brave enough for the beans:laughing:

I think Jelly sounds good, i'll definately give baked beans a miss though :laughing:
