Hi
Can anyone tell me - is it an Ofsted requirement that we go on a Health and Hygene course (with relation to food provision)?
Our NCMA lady told us we did (when she first came to explain EYFS to us before the summer) but I think she was giving us her interpretation of things back then - trawling through all the books, I cant see that we "have" to - or have I missed it??
I have read that we need to register with environmental health and follow our local authorities rules etc (which for childminders are non in our area) but is there a sneaky paragraph I have missed?
Why cant Ofsted just produce one simple list: first column - every you have to do, second column: everything it is advisable to do. I cant stand this having to read and sift through pages of gumpf, trying to note down the tiniest of hidden "must have this" in amongst reams of text. (rant over)
Thanks
