How old are the older ones?

You could do colour mixing - which colour paints mixed together will make green, how do you make it a darker or lighter shade - then paint some pictures

You could collage all things green cutting pictures from magazines etc

Buy some white carnations put green food colouring in the water and watch what happens - need a bit of patience for this one

Grow some cress, food taste green vegetables and/or fruit or do painting with them etc
