Im due to go on my 1st aid for the next 2 saturdays, feeling a little nervous about it, tell me im not going to be kissing plastic people! x:laughing:

It's quite straight forward ... you listen a lot, do the breathing stuff, find out everything has changed since last time you went and get some weak cups of tea and usually a few biscuits. :D

Most definately - various sizes too. We had 3. Adult, child and baby.

We listened alot ,we talked alot,we drank tea and coffee
They provided us with lunch
We bandaged each other and put slings on
It was a good two days

They give you a protective mouth guard too so no x infection to dettol tasting dummies

Bit of advice - don't wear lippy!
It's a good couple of days, I was worried sick about it too and there really was nothing to worry about. Got given loads of handouts to read, lots of nice peeps to chat with etc.

We had the three different sized ones aswell.
Lots of that & putting people in the recovery position, slings & bandeges & tonns of info :)

We didnt do bandaging!
The plastic baby always freaks me out for some reason :(

Ours must have been low budget - no tea, no biscuits and we had to provide our own lunch!! And only the baby rescusianni (?sp).... bandages, recovers, ABC etc. Nothing t worry about at all!

i got mine 4th oct and following sat and they not plastic people ......they called ANNIE !! lol ok yea yea have a giggle see if i care :blush:
yep you will be hun, its fun tho i remember doing it in childcare gcse

Plastic people all around I'm afraid. I'm in the middle of a course (my second one).
I also am on a budget one as we don't get any food or drink!
Don't wear lippy, wear comfy clothes - you will be on the floor.
