further planning/additional ideas

After much anguish I have been able to plan some themes/topics and worked out how to observe and record lol, BUT at the end of the activity/observation I was hoping to write down some ideas of how this could be extended ... I am having real difficulty ... for example at the moment we are doing "all about me" and have a few things to do but how can we further it?

For example today we are making a mini book "bodies", with pictures of body parts, arms, legs, fingers, nose etc etc

how could I extend this?

Any ideas welcome.

Make a person or animal with split pins? :D

Baker ross do pre cut people that you put together wiht split pins. They also do body foam parts for painting. I bought some and used them during the holidays. The two years old the five year old and my thirteen year old enjoyed making painitngs.
