Just wondering...

I offer flexibility where I can - in terms of swapping a day occasionally as a one off, or doing an extra day as a one off, but I was wondering if this would affect my insurance if a child was attending on a day which isn't on their written contract? If it is a permanent change, then obviously I formally change the written contract, but not for one offs. Should I be adding something to the contract which covers me for occasional swaps/extra days?

I don't know!

I often have children swapping days, adding hours etc for 'one offs'. I'd have presumed that as long as you do have insurance it's fine.
I've only used the 'my insurance doesn't let me xyz' if i don't want to do something!

I don't know either, I thought we were covered as a whole rather than the individual contracts.

I'm pretty sure you'd be covered.

You're covered if children arrive earlier or leave later than contracted hours, so I wouldn't have thought it was any different.
