What exciting things have you got planned for the week ahead?

I need to write a couple of 2 year old progress checks so I’ve planned a few activities to double check where the children are at in certain areas. Of course, it’s all done through playing so they’ll be unaware that they’re being watched!

I’m also going to get them to decorate plant pots so they can each have a viola plant to take home. We planted some wild flower seeds a while back and have got lots and lots of violas. I need to thin them out a bit so thought it would be nice for the children to take some home. If the parents are anything like me, they won’t last long once they get them home, but it’s the thought that counts!

Other than that, it’ll be a pretty normal week. Hopefully the weather will be better than last week so we don’t spend our time dodging rain showers!

Enjoy your days everyone

Good morning!

I'm meeting a friend for coffee ... and I suspect it will lead into lunch as well :D

I have a few mini beast things planned this week, including making a wormery! I just written a note to go home to ask for parents views before I write my next 2 yr check. I don't have any concerns ( speech is a little behind, but i'm not actually worried about it ) and I don't think mum does, as we talk frequently!

I'm hoping the weather stays dry at least for the majority of this week. I am fed up of being stuck home.

have fun everyone xx

We have had a lovely morning out in the garden this morning, lots of rainwater to explore! This afternoon we are going for a walk.

Not too much planned this week but we are doing a few book related activities as it's The Book Trust's pyjamarama day on Friday which we are supporting. I don't normal do any of the charity days.

Have a good week ;)
