This afternoon when I was out walking the dog, I came across a couple of boxes outside someone's house. There were toys and books inside for passers by to help themselves to. Just the 'fix' I needed with all the charity shops having been closed for so long!

Anyway, I got about six lovely books and a train track type of toy (plastic). Thank goodness DD had decided to come on the walk for once as I wouldn't have been able to carry it all and hold the dog's lead!

Obviously I will give the train track toy a wash, but do you think it needs to be quarantined as well? If so, for how long? It's Saturday today, so no mindees until Monday.

I was buzzing when I got back from my walk, lol! The week before last, I came back with a couple of china tea cups for my outdoor kitchen. DD was with me then too, so I'm now insisting that she comes on the walk every Saturday as she is my good luck charm.

How lovely Maza. :D

I'd just give everything a wash/wipe down the books and leave them to air/dry for a couple of days.
