I've got a late start today so I've spent time printing and laminating Christmas pictures and activities. I'm having a gentle introduction to Christmas this week, but plan to go into full on Christmas mode from Monday  I'm going to get everything set up over the weekend so when the children arrive on Monday morning, everything's Christmas :clapping:

Is everyone ready for the Bake Off final tonight? I really don't mind who wins, but think it should be one of the men. Up until last week I thought it would be Hermine, but now she's gone it doesn't matter who it is, although I don't think Laura is good enough. She'd have to be outstanding tonight to make up for previous weeks.

Has anyone been watching I'm a Celebrity? Maza, was it you said you'd watched some of it? Have you stuck with it and has it been any good? I saw a bit of it last night when I was flicking channels but it didn't grab my interest.

Have you all got lovely plans for today? We'll probably head into the garden once the children arrive. It's quite mild out today after yesterday's freezing start so we should manage without hats and gloves!

Whatever you're doing, have fun

Morning!

I'm just waiting to pick DD up from school to go to Orthodontist! We'll have a walk and picnic lunch whilst she's there ( I can't go in ).

We're going to make Advent calendars this week .... the older children cut up a sheet of printed little pictures to colour, put a number on each one and then stick them on a sheet of card to colour in or whatever each day. We did it for the first time last year and the schoolies have all requested that we make them again! And then, yes .... Christmas starts next week! Hopefully when I get everything out of the loft, I don't need to do anything except print out a few colouring sheets!

Good morning.

Cold here today.

Looking forward to the bake off final. Now I'm routing for Laura her work bench is how my kitchen looks like after I have been baking.

I think the taste of the bake should be 75% and the look 25%. Feel sorry for both Laura and dave as the social media trolls have been in full force. Dave has had to delete his twitter due to nastiness towards him and his family :-( :-(

That being said I don't really mind who wins this year im just glad they got to film it in their bubble.

Not watched im a celebrity this year youngest was but im not sure if she still is on catch up.

Have a good day everyone x

In our house we think Peter will win but it all comes down to that showstopper at the end so it could be anyone!

We haven't watched celebrity apart from the first night. I have been watching the latest series of The Crown, I can't quite make up my mind about it its obviously not 100% facts based but there must be a slight bit of truth!

We have been out in the garden most of the morning and then watched the Bounce and rhyme session from the local library before lunch now we having some quiet time.

After going through my craft supplies I realised I have no Christmas coloured card so ordered some last night and hoping it will arrive quickly!

Yes, we're watching I'm a celebrity. I still find their ethics regarding the bugs/rats/pigeons questionable. It's interesting that this year it is the boys who have started to get a bit bitchy - the two alpha males, Shane and Vernon.

That's a shame that the silly trolls have been nasty towards Dave and Laura. I think Peter has been the most consistent - but that doesn't matter does it? It's show by show.

I watched the the crown before before they changed all the actors. I couldn't warm to them - especially Phillip - and Princess Ann's character just infuriated me. I might watch it now that Dianna is in it though.

Mindee actually spent a couple of minutes of a craft activity today, and then we did some mark making with water on the patio. Again, he actually enjoyed it for once. I was going to do my aqua mat, but when I unfolded it it had mould all over it, so I binned it. I've had it for about 10 years but I must have folded it up when it was still wet a few weeks ago.
