The end of the week is here, at last.

No children today so I’m going to go and meet a friend for coffee. While I’m out I’ll nip to town for a quick wander round the shops. I’ve got a couple of birthdays coming up soon so need to get presents. When I was in a shop last week I noticed they were emptying aisles. I said to DH it was probably so they could set out the Christmas stuff :clapping: This year I must be more organised and get my shopping done early in case more restrictions are put in place and we can’t go shopping so easily.

Enjoy your day off Mouse...I am looking forward to catching up with friends over the weekend, we have a social distance meet up in the garden so we thought we had better make the most of this weather as we don't know when we will be able to meet up again. There are only 3 of us but one of us has a vulnerable family member and has to shield all over lockdown so we don't want to meet up in a cafe/restaurant etc

Ooooh, Mouse, early Christmas shopping! Looking forward to some updates from you.

I've had to keep DD off today. She's got a heavy cold and sore throat. Definitely just a cold though - no symptoms of covid.

No exciting plans for today or the weekend. Hopefully a couple of nice walks. Quite a bit of admin, but not horrible stuff as far as admin goes.

My new starter ( 11mths ) barely looked at parent at drop off this morning :D ( last night had to be peeled off me to go home !!:laughing::laughing: ) We've been out to feed the ducks and now everyone is playing in the sand/ water and new starter is having an early lunch ... having demanded it quite forcefully :laughing:

Quiet afternoon and then school run.

We have friends over for bbq tomorrow ( our big DSs are both off to uni soon ) .. luckily we'd already planned it with the restriction on numbers coming in again on Monday!
