Good morning Wednesday

No work for me today so I had a nice lie in this morning. I’m off to meet a friend for coffee soon. We’re going to a local cafe that’s doing the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, so I’m sure a morning coffee will lead to a cheap lunch :)

This friend of mine runs a very popular forest school that has always had a long waiting list. She was saying she’s struggling to fill her spaces for September, which is unheard of. If I wasn’t so old I’d be tempted to book myself in for a few sessions :laughing:

Other than coffee/ lunch out, I haven’t got much planned for today. I do need to sort out a couple of kitchen cupboards so that might be my fun job for this afternoon. I’ll blast some music while I’m doing it so it might not be quite as boring as it sounds!

I'm getting everything ready for my new starters ... which leads me to a question .... what with Corona, my brain has turned to mush to do with anything else ... Are we getting a new/revised EYFS? or did i imagine it? Just thinking i don't want to print a tracker ... if it is all changing !!!!

Evening!

I went into town today for the first time in months. It was wonderful. It felt quite festive and nowhere seemed to be struggling, although I know they certainly have been. I went for school socks for dd and then just browsed. I got a couple of Christmas presents too. I'm exhausted now. Do you remember the days when we had to do all of our Christmas shopping in real shops instead of online? I don't know how we found the energy!
