Have you all been following Captain Tom Moore’s amazing fundraising effort? I’d seen it mentioned for a few days, but to be honest hadn’t really taken much notice of it until a day or two ago. Now I’m hooked and keep checking on his total. How incredible must he be feeling to know that his little fundraiser has taken off in such an awesome way

Today is looking a bit grey and cloudy so this morning I’m going to stay inside and sort through my paperwork. Before we went into lockdown I was due an Ofsted inspection so I’m guessing I’ll get one pretty soon after we’re back working again. It would be daft not to use some of this free time to double check everything is in order. I know I’ve got random training certificates dotted round the place so I need to find all of those.

Then this afternoon I am going to write some letters. I can’t remember the last time I hand wrote a letter on pretty notepaper but I thought it would nice to send some post to my young nieces and the minded children.

Stay safe everyone x

good morning!

My one and only mindee today decided to start the day at silly oclock, so has settled down for a nap now! Later on, I think we are going to explore the jungle at the far reaches of Loocyloo Land! I might just take the secateurs with me and cut down the vines ( aka ivy! )

Captain Tom Moore is just incredible. I don't know him, but I feel so proud of him.

I was/am due an inspection too Mouse. :panic: I'm as sorted and up to date as I can be, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens about inspections. I think I read somewhere, that maybe, we'll just get thrown back in the pot for inspection in the next cycle, but who knows!

My friend and I are writing to each other ... the last time we wrote so often was when she was away at Uni, and then, when I lived in Australia .... 25-30 years ago! ... the scary thing is ... we've both still got some of the old writing paper :laughing:

have fun everyone, and stay safe. :group hug::group hug:

Morning!

We've also been following the story and loving it.

I'm tired today. Cookie has decided that he will no longer sleep through the night. He used to be amazing at sleeping, but now he is like a new born baby. We take it in turns to take him down to the garden to do his toileting business in the middle of the night. He started off being good - doing his business and then coming back inside, but now he has decided that he would also like to play and runs off into the flower beds and under bushes where we can't reach him. We can't call him because we don't want to wake the neighbours. We have now decided that we will have to put him on the lead for his middle of the night toilet trips. The other night we took him to the garden three times in the middle of the night and he didn't go to the loo. I think I might need to cut down on his daily naps!

Oh no I have all this to look forward to as we are collecting our new little pup Saturday, we didn't think we were going to be able to as our local vets had said they wouldn't be doing the second vaccines when we asked but then this week they have said they will be able so that means we can collect him this week rather than wait another 2 weeks where he would have had both vaccinations with the breeder. I had it in my head that it would be another 2 weeks before he arrived and now its this weekend panic mode has set in:panic:

I was wondering if you had your pup yet Pixie dust! How exciting! A friend of mine has just collected a pup and I did wonder about the vaccinations.

Can't wait to hear all about it!
