You may remember me mentioning that I applied for a job in Shrewsbury. Well, I didn't get it. Apparently they had an overwhelming number of applicants (hope that's true and that they weren't just softening the blow, lol). They were looking for a year 5/6 teacher and I am Ks1/early years, but they said they would consider moving the current teachers around for the right candidate, so I applied anyway. Obviously I'm not the right candidate. Shame, it was a nice school, but hey ho.

Anyway, we have decided to put our flat on the market. Yesterday we had the photographs done and just now we have noticed that the sign has gone up in our garden!!! The journey has begun! Obviously it may take a while to sell, but in the meantime I will keep looking for a job.

I had a wobble a few weeks ago about leaving this place with all of our memories in it. Our last flat represents our fertility struggles, but when we moved into this flat we got pregnant literally in the first week. So all of my dream come true pregnancy memories and parenthood memories are in this flat. However, I suddenly thought that whilst that is true, I don't want future memories to be here. That thought has helped me to take the next step.

Fingers crossed that a job comes up soon so that we can put in an offer on the houses we like.

Exciting times ahead Maza.

Its a shame about the job but i always try to think that its it's obviously not meant and something else is out there.

Fingers crossed for a quick sale x

The adventure is starting!
Good luck with finding a post in Shropshire Maza, it is this term when jobs usually become available for September, so hopefully you won’t have to wait long.

Exciting times.

I know, I am keeping the 31st May resignation deadline in mind! My current school is interviewing on 8th May to fill someone else's post and so I would love to let them know by then that I am also leaving so that they can find two replacements in one day.

It is so the Education dept that in the Summer term you have to resign 2/3 months before!
I really hope it all comes together for you.
