2 weeks contract only

Hello,
I might be doing a 2 weeks contract ( one off only due to mum traveling).
Children will.be 8.and 10 yo
Do I need to do all the usual paperwork with giving policies, procedure , signing all permissions, doc form and child record form.....and also the contract ???
It will be less than 3 hours per day.
Seems like a lot of paperwork for a small period.
How do you do it?? Never done emergency contract before

I do not do full contract but do ask for payment in full before short-term/ad-hoc care starts and state under what circumstances you will refund (what if they are ill, change hours, what if you are ill etc)
Permissions- you need what is relevant.
Policies- they need to read and agree those which are relevant.
You need all the usual child info/contacts
You may chose to find a quicker way to do this. But you need to treat it with just as much diligence as you would a long term contract- more so even if you do not know the family and have not built up a relationship. Even in those few hours they could have an accident, get sick, have an allergic reaction, you be unable to contact parents, have a late collection, non-payment etc etc! Some charge a higher 'ad-hoc' rate to covert this extra hassle and admin.
If this is helping out another childminder, you could, with permission, share the other CMer's documents if you are happy with them, to save repeating yourselves.
