Hello lovelies, please help!
I am trying to write a Safeguarding policy and I’m struggling. Please can you help with what needs to be included and points/tips

Have you had a look/ read of Pacey or childcare.co.uk s documents? They will have guidance on writing a safeguarding policy.
Mine is very long and includes what i would look for/ would do if i suspected any form of abuse, what i would do if a child disclosed anything to me, information about 'prevent duty', what i would do if an allegation was made about myself or a member of my family. Also, who my local safeguarding contacts are, local safeguarding board and local proceedures.
It's a big subject to cover. Do you have any local childminders who could help? Good luck x

I’ve just rewritten mine , it took a while!
I used the childcare.co.uk docs to help alongside my local council safeguarding children site.

As well as the guidance from Childcare.co.uk don't forget to look on your LsCB website - you will find a 'model' policy with all the local reporting numbers :D
