When increasing fees tdo you amend contracts ?

Hi, I am putting up my fees by 10p per hour from April do you amend the orignal contract to reflect this and get parents to sign or would you print odf a letter and get pare ts to sign this ?

I do it in writing, all sign 2 copies and attach to contracts.
I also write on contract 'see amendment (date)...' and cross out old fee and note new fee, if there is space.
You can write new contracts if you want.

I have an 'amendment to contract' sheet which has sections for changes in hours, fees, personal details or 'anything else'!
Theres a sentence at the bottom which says
This page forms part of the original contract agreed on .............................. and any changes come into effect from.............................................. ..

and then spaces for both to date and sign. I then just slot it in with their previous contract.
