THis is the one thing I am most worried about, what kind of things should I be risk assessing?
Surely as I am making my home as safe as possible for children then there shouldnt be any risks?
Can someone please show me their risk assessment forms so I can see what theyre about?

Thanks :)

I did a risk assessment for each room in my house and garden even though it is safe you state what you have done to make it safe.

eg. Lounge - plug sockets. Any plug socket not in use has a plug safety cover applied. Date completed - state date.

Kitchen - kettle - pushed right back against wall so children cannot reach it.

Basically list all potential risks and what you have done to prevent a problem with a date completed.

Hope this helps.

i have a quick tick sheet so i can risk assess my house and garden daily. i find this really useful as i cannot guarantee that my husband or child hasn't left something lying around or moved plug covers etc!! i could do this visually but it helps having a list to make sure i've checked everything!!
