Minstrel, different areas call the ICP different things - in cheshire it's now the ICC... Introduction to Childminding in Cheshire :rolleyes: Angela has just corrected me... I was thinking it was the first part but she's achieved the whole thing, to get a full level 3 qualification which is even wowwer!!!

ECP is the third and last part of the "certificate childminding practice" level 3 qualifcation for childminders it has been replaced with Diploma homebased childcare

Congratulations.
I managed to do my ICP and DCP several years ago. After completing the DCP I needed a break so didn't immediately enrol on the ECP that followed them. The local college/early years haven't run one since so I wasn't able to complete it and at the time I didn't have the motivation for distance learning. Never mind though, I'm now studying via OU and I'll have a level 4 in October so it' all worked out fine.

Thanks everyone Well done madasahatter for going on to do level 4 i finished DCP just before last christmas then went striaght onto do ECP last marking date was June so had to get on with it
