Nursery child

I need help please, I'm newly registered and had an enquiry to look after a 3 year old before and after nursery four days a week. Will I still have to do observations/learning journeys or do the nursery do these. What Will I be expected to do? Thanks

Yes, in proportion to the hours you have the child. Nursery will do theirs too. And work together with nursery- speak to key worker, work out a way to communicate (share a diary book?), how you can share LJs and use each other's input/obs etc Get a good line of communication with them and your life will be much easier! Document all contact you make with nursery as sadly not all are forthcoming with info to CMers, you need to show you are trying.

Thank you, it's all a bit daunting, trying to understand exactly what I'm to do and get into some sort of routine.
