Does anyone have an Amazon Fire TV?

I am considering getting one for my DS's room. We don't have a rooftop ariel and all the other rooms have a Sky box but I don't want to pay out for yet another one. Does the Fire need an ariel or can it be used via the broadband in the house wirelessly?? If so can you watch Live TV or is it only for catch up?

I am not sure but see if you can find a comparison site for these boxes? I had an Apple TV which is great because I can stream stuff like YouTube or whatever from my iphone or an iPad

It broke and dh bought me a roku box .. It does a lot of the same stuff we usually use for netflix. I can't stream any channels or videos or my photos to it though which annoys me I used to like my photo stream scrolling! It does pull pics from Facebook though and have a lot more channels.. There is a good one 'happy kids' the little ones love it's all nursery rhymes

So pros and cons . Amazon one looks good but don't think it works here in Ireland
