Hi everyone,
I am in the process of registering a new assistant, I've had one before but this was well over a year ago now and I'm not sure if things have changed.
Basically, the person in question already has a paediatric certificate (fab) and tells me she has a DBS... now to my knowledge (though this might be incorrect), assistants had to have a DBS for the setting in which they worked for however she has just replied with this message:
"Just spoke to DBS. I am registered on their online update service so any new employer can log on and check my certificate is still up to date with nothing recorded. They said I'd show u my original certificate and then u can log on ( no charge) with my details"
Now is she correct or do I have to gain another DBS for my own setting?
TIA.
