How often do ofsted like you to do your risk assessments, every 3 months, 6 months, annually? Thanks for any advice :-)

Ofsted do not specify. DofE do not specify and do not even stipulate written RA at all. So it is up to you whether you write them down and how often you revise them.

An annual review sounds right to me, plus changes as and when things change- new age/stage of children, new resources, building work or changes at setting or somewhere you go to, new car or different transport you are using, new place you are visiting, new pet etc.

I review one RA or policy (or 2 of the really short ones) each week.

I find this beneficial because:-

They all get reviewed twice a year.
It spreads the work out over the year, and is less daunting that going through the whole lot in one go.
It refreshes my memory as to what's in there.
