DBS check

I've applied online with capita for my DBS check and need to get my identity forms checked too, how long does it take for them to come back so that I can then apply with ofsted?

Hi,
Capita won't start the DBS check (if I remember rightly) until you submit your id check paperwork. I sent my id paperwork by recored delivery (or 'signed for' as the Post Office are now calling it!). I did DBS checks for 3 of us and it was pretty quick (approx 4 weeks). You can track it online to see where it's up to. In my experience it was very efficient (I know some people have waited ages though!).
