Hi, I am a new childminder and at the moment I have a baby (6months) I am trying to put together a monthly activity plan but I am really struggling to think of activities to match a theme that is appropriate for a baby.
Can anyone recommend a book or something that will help me along, I have looked in the activities forum and not found much that is appropriate. Thank you

For a baby I wouldn't be following a theme, just babes interests ... Lots of interesting things to explore ... treasure basket ... singing and 'dancing' ... walks in the woods ... balls ... stories ... cuddles ... introduce a little sensory play ... encouraging sitting/crawling etc wherever the babe is developmentally.
If you want to link to something..Maybe some autumn leaves to feel, go for a walk and watch autumn leaves blowing down from tree, sounds leaves make as you walk/push buggy through them.

So u am trying to do my long and medium term planning, do i make this a general plan and not make plans for the baby?
