help with planning please

hello, I have my pre-reg visit on Monday, and I've looked into other planning so much its confusing me, so does anyone know were I can get an idea of what planning they are doing and templates. I know I have to do the starting points, then plan for weekly activities, and short, medium, long term planning. I wanted to do themes and incorporate children's interests also into this. I also know I have to do observation's and have a learning journal to complete. am I on the right tracks ? can someone please give me some advice.

I brought sarahs ebook on planning the other day and I think its fab!
I was getting really confused looking online for information but this ebook has everything in it and it's so mich easier to understand. Definitely recommend it.
Its got long, medium and short term planning, group planning, individual planning and continuous provisions. Oh and activity ideas and templates.
