No, they will be safety glass- look for the kite mark in the corner. If they are sealed double glazed or uPVC ones they will be fine.

Hi, I've got patio doors in my lounge and I've not got safety film on them. Mine have got the kite mark stamp on them and I've also risk assessed them. My pre-reg visit was last month and the Inspector didn't say anything xx

You may want to put some stickers on your patio doors so children can see when they are open / closed as most accidents happen when children run at full speed at a patio door only to find it is closed. Safety glass can still break but like a car windscreen in small rounded chunks rather than jagged glass.
