what do I need to re-register

I'm in panic mode. I was registered in 2012 and I have my level 3.
Someone said this doesn't expire but as of sept I'll need a gsce in maths and English.
I got these in 2006 does this mean doing them again?? How? Please help

Hiya don't panic! If you already have them you don't need to redo them it's only if you don't have grade C or above I believe.

To register you need whatever qualification your LA asks for.
That is usually the CYPOP5.
CYPOP5 is one of the optional modules of a Level 3, so you need to:

1. Phone your LA and check it is CYPOP5 they want.
2. Check your Level 3 to see if you did the CYPOP5 modules.
3. If it did not include CYPOP5 module you need to ask LA if they want you to take CYPOP5 course (can be done on line) but they might accept the Level 3 depending on what it covered- needs to be discussed in detail with your LA and it is at their discretion.

The GCSE thing is if you want to take the NEW Level 3-equivalent qualification, but you have a Level 3 so no need really.

GCSEs are not required for registering as a CMer.

You just have to ask your LA. CYPOP5 is still relevant now but it is your LA who will say what they want from you Sept+. Give them a call.
